- V II pickups and Klusons so should be TST-50GS (despite 1954 detail, like a button string tree)
- Pot codes are March 1987
- Final Prospec bridge
- Production codes separated by a dash, not =
- Routs without pickup screw indentations, no control brass plate
- Neck stamp is 5 -17, body stamp lost to screening paint
Actually one of the nicest STs/TSTs I've had.

My Ast '56 has V pickups.Aren't those V pickups not the replacments for the E's ?Then they have to be in ST60's and above.Sigmania said:Anyone know which guitars these "V" pickups came in ?

The SS60 bullet trussrod has grey's with blue and black wires.
The V pickups are identical I believe to the E pick ups which they super ceded in some ,but not all higher end ST60s and ST80s from 84 to 86. They were also fitted to modified headstock AST s in the States , where the were referred as C.A.R. California Accurate Reproduction pickups.Anyone know which guitars these "V" pickups came in?
Or anything else about them?
early 80s Tokai pickups....authentic and worth it?
Very cool. I have been wondering which guitars had them and when.
