It's an LS65, the MIJ model with an EMG 81, gotta say these things really are better than current production Gibson Les Paul Standards. I also managed to get a very, very low action on it too. pretty metal I'd say!

I have no idea! I was going to attemp it myself but i'd never wired actives before so I took it to a shop for them to do it. If i remember correctly there's some info on EMGs website about how it's done.
