Someone asked me about some pickups in their 1979 SIlver Star. They were wondering if the 36/40/48 may have had ceramics.
I wasn't sure so I looked at the 1980 catalog and was surprised at how they were described.
I get the A/B thing (as in that first letter), but notice the SS40 has a mixed set. Also what could the second B or W indicate?
Never noticed that before.
