Hi All,

I have a 81 Silver Star, that I believe is a SS36 model going by pickups, bridge etc. - but having finally got around to taking it apart (fitting a a Bare Knuckle Sinner to the bridge as its a bit weak compared to the others) , I couldn't find a stamp on the neck .. I have removed it completely as it needs a little straightening in the pocket too, but no sign - just wondered if this was particularly unusual?
Cheers!
Glynn.

Can you post pictures?

Headstock
Neck pocket
End of neck
Body cavities

Thanks

It’s interesting I think that it has these T and F stamps. Years later when Tokai was making Fenders they used T and F stamps. Apparently to designate necks that were Tokai or Fender branded.

You're welcome.

And with your serial number, are you sure that third digit is an 8?

Should be a "0" I think.
