So all things considered, who do you guys think consistently made the most accurate production '59 burst repro back in the '80's MIJ glory days? Requirements would be things like:

2-pc center seam solid top (flame or plain)
1pc back
1 pc neck (no heel cap)
nitro
correct horn profile
correct headstock angle
FEB
Brazilian board
etc.

(Electronics are fuzzy... I would give extra points for quality original PAF repro rather than dropping in an SD or DiMarzio and deduct a little for Tokai circuit boards, but that's just me...)

Tokai LS200/150.....
Greco EGF1800......
Old highest Navigators.....
Burny FLG240.....

What else there were??...
I guess Village People knows them well...

tokai LS-150-200 = no long tenon
Greco EGF-1800= no long tenon sometimes 2 piece back
old highest navs= all the specs
Old burny 150-240 some LT some not

so the navs..

A question for Sushi Guy

Sushi is my favourite, but I would like to prepare it at home so I have more money left for nice guitars. Can you give me some preperation tips? Especially for Fugu.

JohnA....

I usually never recommend to make FUGU sushi by yourself coz FUGU fish has the poison in them and it's pretty strong. We could die sometimes by that. If you really wanna try FUGU then you better let someone pro-sushi guy make it for you. Suprise someone in England knows FUGU sushi today. It's really in the global times isn't it now? Anyway, here is what you need. The Sushi making instruction for you....... This one seems great!

 Sushi Guy ofcourse not Sushi Gay.

Thanks Sushi Guy, but that's all a bit basic, I have a tank full of pufferfish ready for preperation, maybe I will let the wife try the first one! I will let you know how it goes :D

Sushi in Middlesbrough? Now I know the world has gone mad!

Preparation tips.

1. Find fish
2. Kill fish
3. Cut up fish
4. Eat fish.

If you're in the North East, you might want to deep fry it as well.

Plenty of local Sushi resteraunts here in the North East, not quite as popular as Fish & Chips yet though, but we do have some of the best F&C resteraunts in the country.

We always were cool SG. By the way, when you speak to your friend/cousin/idol Tokai Joe, could you please thank him for sending me Tokai catalogue 24, which I received yesterday? Most kind.

Of course, if you were TJ, I could thank you myself. But you're just Sushi Guy from Hong Kong.....
