Great pics - thanks. The shape is different in quite a few subtle ways isn't it? That's probably the first Tokai original design that I like, very nice.

But that Tele is a stunning looking guitar - very Albert Collins.

I prefer rosewood boards, but the maple board looks best. What's the neck like? Quite fat and chunky if it's a Bacchus I suppose?

Yes indeed. The guitar was even called "Albert Collins style" by Hisashi. It sure is a keeper, a very fine instrument and built with superior eye for detail as well.
The neck indeed is quite chunky, about as thick as the neck on a Love Rock or Anniversary, but slightly less wide at the nut, 40 mm in stead of 43 mm. The rest is TWANG

 Oh well, not for me then. Probably just as well!

EDIT: what colour is it? black? it's hard to tell from the photos whether it's black or just the angle you took the picture from...
The colour is black indeed. For my likings it suits this guitar best, but there are many other colours,

This actually is the place where I bought it by the way (Great seller, strongly recommended)

Hi!
Here you can see more pics if you want to! These are the first shippment guitars, still a bit different to the actual models. The switch position changed, and no matching headstock anymore!

Kinda like the new ones better than the first generation - don't like the switch on the lower bout - not as easy use down there.

I really like it !!!! It looks to me like a Les Paul made love to a Telecater or vice versa and this was it's offspring...... Very cool !!!!

This anniversary models are lovely. Cant wait to get my hands on one. does someone know any distributors here in southeast asia?
The curves are very similar to JG bluesmasters. :D

Just in case anyone was under the impression that Tokai "Invented" this LP/tele hybrid shape...
Behold circa 1978:

Gibson kinda toyed with the shape as well:

NAAAAAAHHHHH Marcus....That's the Les Paul Signature...they made that in a bass as well and it only came as a GT.
Not even remotely like the LP/tele hybrid..that Ibanez is exactly the same body shape.
I had a mate who had one of the Les Paul semi's....his had stock humbuckers though....it played great...more of a 335 feel and sound but I didn't like the look of it.
