Hey folks, new member here. I've been a long time fan of MIJ guitars and I was hoping someone could help me find a specific one.
So, for the longest time, I've been looking for an all gold MIJ (Greco, Burny, Tokai) les Paul from the 70s or 80s (P90s preferred) and obviously these are pretty rare... there's also a whole lot of conjecture on which MIJ guitars were finished in nitro. I love the look of nitro checking, that's why I'm asking about the finish.
So yeah, does anyone have any ideas on which brands made an all gold model? Or at least which ones made great gold tops with P90s finished in nitro?
I have a Burny Firebird V from '89 that is a great guitar but I've decided that I want to move it along and really go for an absolute dream guitar.
