7okai silver star catalogue specs 1980/1981?

Morning folks!
I have been looking at the vintage 7okai catalogues at.....

Basically i am interested in buying a vintage silver star from 1980 or 1981 :lol: I was looking at the 1981 catalogue silver star series page for information!
What i would like to ask,is the following....on this page...

The silver star series only consisted of five models at different prices..The SS-85,SS-80,SS-60,SS-48,SS-40,Is this correct? Was this the only silver stars available in that year!NO SS-36/38.
Am I correct ,this is the only 1981 catalogue i can find,Also did tokai stick to the catalogue colour schemes IE=was the SS-80 only avaiable with the black pickguard & maple neck.WAS THERE ANY VARIATION IN TO THE CATALOGUE PICTURES!
Did the SS-40 only come with a white pickguard & maple neck?Hope you understand what i am trying to ask,I know tokai did not keep the best records of all the variations.

Hope you can clear up my confusion on the subject :-?

The SS40 is the same guitar as the previous year's SS38.... just a jump in price

I am right in saying that these four models(ss-85,ss-80,ss-60,ss-48,ss-40) were the only ones on sale in 1981,for the whole of that year,these models never changed!UMM!
So if the above is correct,what colours were available for certain models,say for example,was the SS-40 only available in YS( yellow sunburst) with a white pickguard and maple neck,was there more variations on the colour schemes for each price range,did the whole different series come in the same colour codes but were priced differently according to specs,now i am confusing myself :lol:
This page has the detailed specs for the silver star series,but i can not read japanese or seem to translate it ,anyone have the translation of this page.please!

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS : would a ss-80 be available in white etc...with a rosewood board or was it only available the same as in the catalogue!BOY I AM TURNING THIS INTO A COMPLICATED POST,SORRY!

I think that the answer is that there were variations on the catalogue pics -there certainly were with the Goldstars, which I know a bit more about.

All I can tell you for sure is that I have these two:

The white one is a 1980 SS60, & the Sunburst one is a 1982 SS38 (I think - maybe it was SS40 by 1982?). I need to let something go, & it's likely to be the Sunburst Silver Star, so let me know if you're interested. It's the one that featured in last year's Guitar & Bass mag article.
