What was Your Favorite MIJ Purchase of 2022?

1980 Greco SS-700. Only guitar purchase I made in ‘22. I had been on the hunt for several years. Not perfect…missing the tremolo cover and has a really poor repair done around the control cavity, but it plays and sounds amazing and scratches the itch.

Yeah, it is fun. It's a bit heavy considering it's hollow, but set up a slapback echo and a bit of reverb...
You'll see all over the 'net people comparing them to a Les Paul. They're the same shape. That's it. They're as close to being a Les Paul as a (Chet Atkins) 6120 is.
I bought it used, for a very good price. Previous owner had fitted it with TV Jones Powertrons - very high wind Filtertrons - presumably, because he/she wanted to sound like a Les Paul? It sounded dreadful - Gretsch twang with all the muddiness of a cheap humbucker. I put a set of Gretsch HS Filtertrons in and now it sounds like it should, again.
