Hello,
I’ve got an excellent Stratocaster style neck that I purchased second hand and its been well loved. I haven’t been able to identify it besides a strong suspicion that it is Japanese.
It appears to be a copy of a 1962 or 1963 Stratocaster and has a rather full C neck profile. It’s heftier than a modern C and matches a genuine 1963 Stratocaster almost exactly, I’ve A/B’ed them
Here is what I know

Here is what I know
- The neck is one piece of maple
- The fingerboard is Indian Rosewood and a veneer/laminate
- The tuners are replacements, fake Klusons
- The truss rod is metric threaded
- The nut width is 1.65” and the fretboard radius is 7-1/4”
- It had tiny, vintage sized frets prior to a recent refret
- Position dots are mother of pearl, or a really convincing substitute, and the 12th fret dots are spaced 13/16” apart. Or 1-3/32” center to center
- The guitar has since been refretted but the current neck measurements are 0.845” at the 1st and 0.93” at the 12th
- The finish has checking at the back of the headstock but otherwise acts like a poly finish
