Tokai Goldstar Sound 1984 netherlands

The ad says that it is 100% original but i doubt it. '84 goldstars had 'final prospec' stamped saddles instead of 'tokai' stamped, am i right? Also the 3-ply pickguard and the tuners doesn't seem right to me.

Probably no Tokai body.
I cannot see any grain of the wood.
No see-through painting perhaps?
Better res. of pics would help.

It all looks right for a ST-40 to me except for the pickguard. Tokai saddles are OK, they are not always final prospec. Tuners look right for the cheaper ST-40 also. Nice Guitar, but IMO too expensive.

Yes, all his guitars are way overpriced. I would pay ?600 max for this guitar if it's original.

600eu is still way too much for a ST-40. There was a black one on ebay.co.uk the other day that didnt get a single bid at ?175.00 start price.
