Should I Install the Pick Guard on My LS320?

Will installing the pick guard devalue the guitar?

I like the look of a pick guard on a Les Paul but the thought of putting that one hole, in this maple, is tough .............

i think those clear one actually look better than the normal ones, it still keeps the original LP look but with the flame coming through...brilliant idea...

I used to think my love rock looked a little naked without the pickguard, but I didn't like the way they felt and I didn't want to take a power tool to the maple so my solution was zebra pickups. A less conventional look with plenty to stimulate the eye - you don't even notice the lack of guard!
