Hi
Found a Burny RSA-100 for sale in Japan.
You have any info on this model? Has it only been made in the 2000's or did they start out earlier with this model?
The humid japanese climate can make it rust early but this guitar has alot of oxidation on bridge and pickup covers so it seems to be older than 00's.

Could it be 80's or 90's?

The pickups are VH-1's.

From the head truss rod cover ( looks like 3 screw), it looks like a 2000 one. Anyway, I don't think the japanese shops would be mystaken, most of the time, they know what they 're selling. ( not 100% but most of the time).

Yup, I confused with the one sold at millimeter. The truss rod cover from the one at GC is the typical 90' Burny.

Bought it!
Yep, it's a 90's Burny. Good condition. VH-1 pickups. Slim neck w low action. Sounds really good. More played in feel and more mature than my 00's Tokai ES-120.

Hello guys !

I received a Burny RSA-100RC guitar and I would like to find out what year it was made, or what period it is from (80s, 90s, 00s).

Could you please help me with this? I tried to find it on the internet, but I can't figure it out. Thank you (the holes on the body are from Bigsby, which were probably put there by the previous owner).

Thanks :)326425083_1582903498816970_3168156910142302039_n.jpg326353259_708107570782645_5983907801109591549_n.jpg326420360_722974972597242_1774774793723177929_n.jpg

2004 catalog.

Check under your truss rod cover to see if there are extra holes.

And I am not sure if the truss rod cover was different in 2002 than 2004?

Maybe some Burny experts will jump in.

Also, do you have a picture of the pots or the pickups by chance?

Here's a 2003 RSA-100 BS

After seeing this, yours seems like a 2002 based on the label and serial number.

Again, check for extra holes under the TRC. If no extra holes I wonder if they went from 2 to 3 screw in this period 2002/2003?

Also, definitely check the pots. If you have that old style with the date code in the link above, then it may be older.

And I saw your post on the mylespaul forum. Hope someone there knows.

Burny RSA-100?

I noticed another one (FSA-60) on there with an older label (1980s?) and a crown inlay.

1978 catalog.

Note stone logo on headstock (Fernandes Electrical Sound Research Group).

And no 100 model and called an FSA.

It's looking like a 2002 except for the truss rod cover which is obviously easy to change.

I suggest you pull it off an look for extra holes.
