Tokai LS120V CS 1980 Japan Vintage

Description

Use of the loan campaign and reservation orders when waiting for arrival are available on our website.
Tokai Gakki, a long-established Japanese guitar company.
Older instruments are now rated as vintage, and the craftsmanship that has inherited the craftsmanship that has not changed since then continues to produce wonderful instruments.
Les Paul type that can be judged to be made in 1980 from the serial number

The decal indicating the model number is described as "120", and from the specifications such as laminated curly maple top, 1 piece mahogany back, Dimarzio pickup, etc.
Based on the available materials, it is presumed to be an early individual of the LS120V that has been cataloged since 1981.
The fullness of the Les Paul system, the middle cutout, the wide range and clear rise of the maple top, and the bite that comes from being played and the moderately bright withered feeling added to the pleasant sound.
It's a vintage sound that can only be obtained due to factors such as aging.

It seems that the bottom of the 1st string side nut is raised by a wooden spacer.
The number of bumps on the pegs of the 3.4 strings is different, but they all have TOKAI stamps, and the 1980 LS120V mainly has 2 bumps, and the 1981 LS120V has 1 bump, so I can't tell which one is the replacement. bottom
The control knob is also very beautiful, so it is suspected that it will be replaced, but the specifications conform to the original.
The wiring of the P.U selector is covered with insulating tape, but the details are unknown, and other parts and electrical equipment are considered to be original from the appearance and texture.

The condition of the neck is that the 1st string side is slightly warped, and there is a slight twist, but it is generally good. There is plenty of room in the rod. There is a warp in the center of the bridge that occurs in the system, but when I checked it with a setup of 1 string 1.5 mm and 6 strings 2 mm at the 12th fret, the playability was good.
3 If you feel that the string height of the 4th string is low, we recommend replacing the bridge.
In addition, there are rust and scratches on parts suitable for the age, paint wear on the end of the body, shallow dents, etc., but there is no major damage and it is in a very clean condition considering the age.
