Malford Milligan & Greg Kock
..

Aha, love the gristleman aka Greg Koch and that's the first time I've seen him play anything other than a Stratocaster. He came to Leeds with Roscoe Beck and did a 2 hour show for Fender at the local guitar shop. I spoke to him at length after the show and he is a true gentleman.

Mick Taylor in Dallas on May 19 at the Granada Theater.

One of my favorite guitar players of all time. Here's Mick with the Stones on Love in Vain..... two killer solos - one with slide and the guitar in standard tuning - marvelous

No he's not! He's missed every single subtle nuance that made Chuck such a ground breaking guitarist, in his heyday. All the swing & bounce that Chuck's originals had has been lost in a wall of thrash.

Sad. :(

What's more blasphemous, a French kid having fun with a Chuck Berry lick or an army of white guys ripping off African American blues artists making it seem like it's their music? C'mon.

Good point. I'm more of a purist I guess. You need to know how to play it right before you make it your own

Wilson Pickett - "Soul Dance Number Three"

Killer guitar groove and the Muscle Shoals horn section. His vocals were never better:
