Please help identify my guitar

Hi Guys

Please can you help me idtendiry my Tokai Love rock guitar. I purchased it back in 2003 (in London UK), I essentially wanted a Gibson 59 reissue but didn’t have that kind of money and was blown away by this. I’ve attached some pictures if anyone can help.

It looks like a 2003 LS70F in a matte finish?

Made in Japan.

Flamed sycamore laminated top. MKII pickups.

Should have a 2 piece mahogany back.

Thanks for the reply, yes it does have a Matt finish. But mine never had a pick guard and also has the zebra pickups, so is still slightly different?

Notice the guitar in the middle in the catalog shot.

Probably optional whether the dealer installs the pickguard?

In 2003 the MKII pickups would have been Gotoh with a white label with red outline on the back that says LP-A on it and F or R (front & rear). Green and yellow lead wires.

Yours may have even had the covers removed.

Check for solder residue on the pickups.
