this is a real tokai or fake one? because i din c any headstock with the block logo like this and no oldie but goldies sticker in there...

pls help before i buy it

im going to buy it from my friends after i read a review about tokai guitar in here... i love to have it one.... all complete.he ask for 300 malaysia ringgit or 100usd

Doesn't look like a Tokai to me:

1. Tuning machines not Tokai (not striped blank or marked Tokai or Deluxe)
2. Body not Tokai (notch next to neck)
3. Neck not Tokai (see dot markers on 12th fret)
4. Bridge not Tokai (should have vintage stamped saddles)
5. Logo looks like Letraset transfer

txn for the info...... tuners like a vintage n looks like tokai but no stamped tokai in there.... the logo at the headstock is a original in there dosent look like transfer... anyway txn dude...... txn for the info....

I agree totally with Suki, not a Tokai.
That board is not so bad though; slab board and nice grain.

tuners look like vintage mean like tokai.... it is any new product looks like this?


and... did any other pickup got magnet in the bag of the pickup like the last photo?

The decals are definitely rub-on transfers - whoever has done this has even transferred the point size (36pt) which usually appears on the dry transfer sheet.

Is it me or does the headstock look like it was originally a 70's Fender type that has been cut to look pre-CBS? That may account for the odd shape.

i try the sounds my vox... its really clear and nice.... maybe will keep it for 2, 3 month than give to anybody who need it... thats all
