Not quite sure what this is. Possibly an early 1982 Springy but the serial number is too high
Possibly Lake Placid Blue color that has yellowed.
Tokai ST-60 57 Reissue Goldstar Stratocaster Ice Blue Vintage 1980s | eBay
From the seller:
Tokai ST-60 57 Reissue Goldstar Stratocaster Ice Blue In very good condition. Very rare color, possibly a prototype? The serial number starts with a 57, 57 is handwritten inside the tremolo cavity in pencil. Not like any other ST-60 I have seen. When I picked this up, someone had removed the Tokai logo, and oldies but a goldies water slide, and added a Fender Stratocaster logo. I removed the Fender logo, the outline can still be seen. You can add a new water slide, won't sell with the Fender logo on it. Tokai labeled Tremolo, original Deluxe labeled tuners. 21 fret Maple neck, light wear on the frets, set up for medium action will need to be set for your preference. Neck shape is more like 60's medium C, not a V shape like you would expect on a 57 reissue. Some wear on the body, the pictures show the story. Wear in all the right places, on the fretboard, and body edges. All natural, and looks cool. Has Fender custom shop 1957 AlNiCo 5 pickups which sound fantastic, CTS pots, all professionally wired up by my luthier. Had replacement pickups in it when I got it, sounded nothing like these. Sounds like a great strat should. Have researched this guitar, and hard to find any info on it. No backplate was ever added from the factory. The neckplate, and handwritten markings Could mean a prototype, NAMM guitar, or a one off? Not sure, but rare, along with the gorgeous color. Comes with a nice padded gig bag, packed well, in a real guitar box, fully insured. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING OR MAKING AN OFFER.
