Very nice one indeed and lightweight too.But i dont think its honduras on Ls50.I have a LS100S,one piece mahagony,from '81 and its weight 3,7KG.
Look here and you will see that only the LS200 is honduras,but this is a paper for love rocks.

Good question,Mike.Maybe its there name for a nitrofinish without any undercoating.I have no idea,perhaps someone will enlighten us.
Togps wrote in another thread,that only the LS380(470)have all nitro nowadays.

seller replied to my questions : 2 piece honduras mahogany body ( chequed by reknown luthier , brazilian rosewood fretboard , 50 stamped onto last fret , original pickups and case available

Hi Hot Rod, mate if this is a ls 50 i doubt very much that it is Honduras mahogany and Brazilian rosewood, as it says in the catalogue these timbers were reserved for the high end models only.
