Has anyone ever seen this neckplate on a Fernandes Stratocaster?
I don't understand if it's an original handmade thing like a custom shop or a troll from someone

I've never seen one of these Fernandes except for in a catalog. I bet someone else with more experience has though. Not sure why the lettering on the Kawai size plate is cut off either. Very weird.

As Sigmania has pointed out with the 1979 Fernandes catalog listings, only the top FST models from that year seemed to have these engraved neckplates. I have a 1979 FST-85 or FST-100 with the neckplate. These top FST models from 1979 are not very common and I've only seen a few of them on the used market.

What would be the difference between the 85-100 and 120 models? Unfortunately, I don't understand Japanese, the catalogs are a mystery.
This one has a maple fingerboard and I don't see it in the catalog with the stone logo and small headstock
