I have for sale these 3 original 1980’s tokai pick ups. These are in great condition. These are taken from an early 80’s guitar. They have seen very little use. They have an amazing sound and their reputation is strong. They are stamped “T” with grey bobbins and measure around 8k Ohms.

I recall seeing some in a Silver Star before, no idea if they were factory fitted to it.

Looks like the one pickup says 8.19 on it in pencil.

I assume 8.19k

I wonder if there is a clue in the cables/lead wires?

Interesting that they are combined in one cable rather than separate leads.

And one wire is not shielded like a neutral or ground.

Also, the poles are flat and not staggered.

I am wondering if these were on a lower spec model?
