So, I have had my ES60 for almost a month now (MIK). I have used it extensively. The question I have is about the rosewood fretboard. Doesn't it almost feel like a laminate? Or maybe a pressed wood? There is something not right about the fretboard.
That said, it is a great guitar in many other ways. I did an A & B against my Gibson ES339 and while the pickups don't really compare to Classic 57's, the sound of the guitar does hold it's own.
It is so light that it is a pleasure to travel to rehearsals with. I have a "Guitar Research" soft case that is actually made for an acoustic guitar but the ES60 fits in perfectly. Again, it is nowhere near the weight of a LP or ES335.
Please comment about the fretboard. Thanks in advance...
