Here's a Silver Star that came through here a while ago. It has a 1981 serial and a 50 sticker, pointing towards an early production 1982 SS50MB. There is no SS50 model in the '81 catalogs and unusually, MB was a standard finish for the 50 model in '82, so no 55 sticker. Lovely, all-original instrument in great condition, but the narrow SS necks don't sit that well with me, so I passed it on.

INSPECTED BY K.SUZUKI (Kiso Suzuki inspected?).
It seems to be made in the early 80's.
There are cracks in the binding, rust on the metal parts, dents, etc., but I think it is in good condition considering it is about 40 years old.
It is a metallic blue model that is rarely seen even used and is difficult to obtain. I think the sound is good.
