The bridge pickup appears to be in the right place. It looks like the bridge was mounted further back. How well does it intonate up and down the board.

Intonation seems to be fine. Yesterday, looking through Tony Bacon’s ES book, I noticed that Keef’s black 59 355 has a similar (not as pronounced) bridge placement.

FWIW, I had those S marked goto pickups in my 1979 LS80GT and was not impressed with them and replaced them with vintage DiMarzio PAFs.
