Looking at the price of his Gibson DC faded it must be made from Gold !

Yep, he does - a rosewood board one, the early model (his "early 80s" Bullet, well, isn't). The biggest surprise on Sunday was playing it and realising how good the neck was, even after being treated to all of those delicious vintage Japanese guitars the day before! I know a few of you were a bit appalled at it, but Adrian has said he'll bring it to the next one and you can decide for yourself :)

And yep, that price is loony.

Yes he should have brought it. One thing that we all should have learned over the years is that you never know when a relatively cheap or basic guitar is going to be really good. A Goldstar was just under ?200 in 1984 - pretty cheap for the time - yet last Saturday we had proof (if we needed proof) that these basic, almost budget guitars were always excellent.
