■ The Cat's Eye brand of Tokai Musical Instruments Factory in Hamamatsu is currently manufactured in a factory in China, except for handmade custom items (such as those made by a single craftsman). Masu. Cat’s Eye guitars are manufactured in a small quantity production style by a small number of elite craftsmen at the Chinese factory, and after about 5 years of trial and error, it was completed to the current specifications. Perhaps thanks to Tokai Gakki's hard work, the current series is an excellent product. It is an instrument with extremely high cost performance, with a sparkling high range that comes easily and clearly, and a deep low range that is tight and has excellent response. This is just my personal opinion, but if you look at the finer details, the older Hamamatsu models may be the better choice, but I feel that the current series is better in terms of sound quality. [Differences with CE118T]
■The lower model is the mid-range lineup "CE118T." The main difference is the grade of the material and the decoration of the abalone shell. The extensive decoration of the Avalon alone takes a lot of effort and cost, but the grade of the top board has a big impact on the sound. "CE185T" uses high-quality AAA grade spruce for the top material, and high-quality rosewood with a finer grain for the sides and back. The bass is thicker, the midrange has a thicker mellowness, and the treble strings have a nice punch, but the sound is very thick.
