burny neck's?

would a burny rlg 90 anywhere from 82-86 have a seperate heel. im not sure of the correct term for it, but i think i neck or heel cap? where the heel is a seperate piece of wood? is this common in burny's of that era?

Yes, I had a Burny LP Goldtop like that and a Greco with the same. Might seem petty to some but it spoilt the guitar for me.

In 1980 FLG 150, 240 anf 90 have heelcaps. In 1981 no heelcap on my FLG 90. From 82-88 heelcaps on RLG 50 and 60 (and the goldtops), but i don?t think that the RLG 90,120 and 150 from from this period have heelcaps, but then I have only had a 1983 RLG 120- no heelcap.
It is easy to mistake a RLG 60 forh a RLG 90 from this period. Same pickups and veneer flame top, but multipiece back and heelcap on the RLG 60

are you sure " 1980 " has a heelcap ? i have a 1980 FLG150 and i dont think its got a heelcap.

All 1980 Burnys I have seen, had a heelcap. How do You identify Yours FLG150 as a 1980 model?

Hi Burny123, How do I identify it as a 1980 ( by the S/N 0091X ) i have had over 20 burny's in the last 10 years. Never seem to find a 1980-81, and a couple of weeks ago on ebay this 1980 came up! anyway there is NO heelcap . sorry its a FLG90 NOT a FLG150.

its also got a 1 PC. BACK, on the other site there was some talk about the 1980 having a 2 PC BACK ?

To me it sounds like a 1981 model is there a "supergrade script" on the headstock?.

The S/N starts with "0" - that does make it a 1980 ? There is NO " super grade" its just the logo ( burny) . --- is this the 1st 1980 burny you seen with no heelcap?

My 1981 FLG 90 with "super grade" script has s.n. 00312. This guitar has no heelcap and one pc. back, just like yours.
Yours must be somekind of a transition model !! All other 1980 guitars I have seen has been with heelcaps.
