The serial number on this is hard to see but may be 22xxxx ? That would be 1987/88 or so. Much earlier than an AST483 appears in a catalog.

The hardware on this one is black rather than gold and the bridge and saddles are different.

Purple burst (PPB).

Not sure if this would be called:
"Clear Green" (CGR) which is a MAT guitar color in the 1987 catalog, or
"Emerald Green Shade" (EGS) which is a JSR color that shows up in the 1995 catalog.
