So finally I got it yesterday and it’s a shock to me coz there’s really a big change this time. It’s, no more acoustic so far. All the models are gone now. I was told by my Tokai friend dealer this is because the Tokai Chinese factory is no more by something by the Chinese govt or something. No more basses either. All the models are gone now. Tokai only makes their basses only sometimes irregularly and those ones aren’t the catalog regular models. All the model numbers have changed too. The old numbering system is no more and now they call the new models very simple names. So many electric models are gone now. Only very basic ones are survived. A lot of new colors available now however. It seems that new company called Grace is now focusing on a handful of models only because the company’s production capacity is not big lately. Tokai always has had a lot of the back orders lately so this new way of doing their business well is their solution I guess. Overall I am a bit disappointed but hopefully Tokai will be always a great company with the great products. I already sent a copy of the new catalog to Sigmania here on this forum so he will show it to you and explain well. Okay Sigmania, thanks and thanks! A good luck with our Tokai now. Tokai forever!
