I was thinking the nibs were removed and while I was trying to see better I realized the Joe Walsh is not allover red....

These are apparently non catalog guitars.

MR does not show up as an option for an LS60 in 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1984.

I have seen at least a half dozen examples of these vintage all Metallic Red LS-60 examples over the years.
I believe Greg (TF member 'currypowder') had one a while back, if memory serves correct.

Agreed. Seeing an all MR LS in one of those green lined cases would look like Christmas

The old green lined LS cases are actually my favorite of all time Les Paul case; Built like a tank yet light in weight and they hug the guitar inside the case so, the guitar doesn't move at all inside the case. IMO a better case has never been produced. I have purchased three guitars just to obtain these cases and sold the guitars.

Here is one, an Aria Pro II with FEB and original Gibson P-90s; sold the guitar, kept the case

Yeah, it’s wild. These aren’t even in any catalog that I’ve been able to find. And that blue one is crazy. I’ve never seen one like that.
