I'm trying to get some info about these models, since they seem to be pretty rare.
Any idea what the model name might be (this one has got fret edge binding, should be a high end '80s model)?
Also what are the pickups?
Were they made like the other models, with different specs and quality (i.e. 50, 60, 80, 120, etc.)

I know we can solve this mistery as well...........

Yes, I took a bet and bought it from Japan the other day.
It should be here in a couple of weeks hopefully.
Unfortunately the seller didn't have info about model, etc. just the specs
So any idea about catalogs that have these models pictured or listed?
Any help, as usual, is welcome............

Not really,
my guess is it could most likely be an RSA-100 from 1982-83.
I've found this info on the web,
now of course we just need someone who can translate from Japanese, to get an idea about the specs, finish etc.
Anyone???

check the split in the lower part of the head stock inlay = late 80s/early 90s

the early/mid 1980s didn't have the split in the lower part of the inlay

also, you have the silver bases & gray insulation on the pups = second gen. VH-1 = late 80s/early 90s

nice guitar

Here is mine, I don't know what model it is because there's no sticker in the F-hole.
I hope it could be a RSA-80 or RSA-100 model.

I have to clean it so I will take off the PUs, I hope it's the VH1 model, I have to verify it.
