'78 Burny on eBay: How close to a LS-60 LP Reborn?

Hi everyone.

Way too long since posting last. I was wondering if this eBay ad makes sense (Burny/Fernandes LP copy produced in Tokai factory similar to LP reborn)?. Hopefully it will make better sense than I am describing :0)

Is it really like a Tokai LS60 Reborn? Will it play as well & sound as good as Reborn? Well, that?s anyone?s guess. Not even clear what the Burny-Tokai connection really is. Seems to have different pickups (email seller on that), and probably has different neck at least. Will it attain same collector value as Reborn? Highly unlikely...for that you need original Tokai guitar saying "Les Paul Reborn" on headstock.


As a complete guess I expect it may be a very good guitar for the money. However, same seller is also offering 1982 LS50 Love Rock which should be close to LS50 Reborn without high $-price http://www.tokaiforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3966 . :-?
