Schizo Tokai LS-60 Reborn on ebay

I like this 1978 LP Reborn on ebay but being new to this I'm reluctant to buy. I call it a schizo (lovingly) because it seems to have two personalities, the top being flamed on one side and plain on the other side.

Any help on originality and guidance would be appreciated.

I used to own that guitar - sold it about 9 months ago. It has Kluson repro tuners on it, and the pots/caps are new. The pickups were original when I sold it. I loved the top... there is some subtle flaming on the other side as well, but it's randomness is what makes it look vintage in my opinion. Frets were in very good shape when I sold it.

I know what he paid for it, and I would say $950 is VERY fair. I sold it through consignment, so I don't even know the seller. Just my opinion.
