Up for sale is a 1980 burny/fernandes l.p. custom black beauty 3 pickup, all nitro finish, has the s/n on the end of the fret board ( 0 812xx).

Fret-edge-binding, fernandes and burny are the same company, fernandes went back and forth with there logo's on a lot of there 1979-1981 l.p. guitars, As you can see this one has the fernandes logo, You can see the BURNY logo underneath the fernandes, in addition to the DIAMOND underneath the writing on the headstock ( it is ORIGINAL, and was done at the burny factory. This guitar is very rare, you don't see alot of 1980 models, much less a custom 3 pickup, I am told it has the tokai reborn pickups? any questions please email me. No case but it will be packed very well.IT IS A 1980 made in JAPAN. - the t-rod , is not original, its from a G custom. Maybe you read the burny paper , thats on the net, it only covers les paul standard's, . you can tell what year a burny was made from the s/n . 1975-1981 had s/n's - the 1st digit is the year . after 1981 there were no s/n's . It you read the auction it has a s/n of ( 0 812xx) . also the only years burny's had a nitro finish , was between 1975-1981. after 1981 they went to a hard plastic poly finish. When people talk about about great japan les paul's - the 1980 burny is as good as they come/THIS IS THE REAL THING! hope this help's.
