X stamped Humbucking Pickups

Hi Everyone,

yesterday I dismounted the pickups for the first time on my "new" 1979 Les Paul Reborn. The coverded Humbuckers are marked with an "X" only.

Does anyone know what the X means?
Who made these X pickups?
Are these pickups OEM?

I'd be interested in the answer as well. The underside of my 2003 Love rock's humbuckers don't have any markings at all. Even the neck PU cavity doesn't have the model number written in pencil on the wood.

The same goes for my 2003 LS80F.
