Rare and in very good condition. The most desired JB-120 version with woods / finishing and so on as close to a 1964 Fender Jazzbass as possible. Even the fretboard, it is called Jacaranda, is close or same as Brazilian rosewood ;-)

Asking price is x Euro, but feel free to PM me offers. Bass is located in Europe, Netherlands.
Including case from same age, unsure it is a Tokai case (no logo), colours match with some of 1980's Les-Paul like Tokai cases.

That is a very rare bass if it is a JB120. Is it marked as a 120?

What year was it made?

Haha! I know..

So that is a 1982. SN L01279 ?

Is the body 3 pieces?

I did not buy it new, so cannot tell exactly the building year. But should be 1981 or early 1982 I was told.
Body is 3 pieces (see picture above from back-side!)

It is definitely 1982. If you have pics under the hood they would confirm. Made before June I would wager.

Do you have pics showing the codes on the body and the neck?

Like Tom H said, I would have expected a 1 or 2 piece body on a 120. I haven’t looked at the catalog specs.

So I looked.

Catalog spec in 1981 is for a 2 piece body on the JB120.

You probably want to open it up and be sure that neck was not mated with a different body.

in neck pocket ? = 7, in neck 4=3. Never found a good explanation for those codes. Bought it definitely as an JB120.
