I recently purchased both of the below pictured P-90 type, '56 style Bacchus BLS gold tops.

The one on the left is the mid grade Bacchus '56 style gold top, which I believe is model number BLS-95S.
Features a 2 piece/center seam mahogany back & a poly finish.

Looks to be all original except that a previous owner replaced the original TOM bridge with a non vintage roller saddle bridge.
This is one of only two examples of this model I have seen offered.
The only other one I have seen offered (was) at guitarsjapan.com & it was being offered at $1140, until it was, "not for sale."

It does however look to be all original but the seller is claiming it to be a 120 grade, which it is not.
It was/is listed as a BLS-56-120, of which there is NO Bacchus model number in existance that matches that

The one on the right is the high end Bacchus '56 style gold top, model number BLS-120S.
Features a 1 piece mahogany back & a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.

This one is completely original.
This is the only example of this model that I have seen offered.
It is in near mint condition.

These two Bacchus guitars represent different grades & price ranges (95,000 yen vs. 120,000 yen) but they are both excellent examples of the Bacchus brand.
I have yet to see any other brand as consistant in overall quality, materials, and construction as Bacchus :)

The odd thing is I really prefer the playability of the BLS-95S but then I prefer the tonal response of the BLS-120S.
One other thing; the top color of the BLS-95S is likely a closer match to a true 'bronze powder' gold top than the BLS-120S. Go figure ..........
Enjoy .................
