Original 45 version is pretty 8) as well. No SRV though.

"It was recorded for Paul Schrader's 1982 remake of the film "Cat People". In 1983, Bowie re-recorded the song for his "Let's Dance" album. In 2009 the track was used in another film, Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds". This is the "Inglourious Basterds OST" version.

Cool.... I think it's a great song. Cat People was a cool movie too.

While we're on Tarantino, here's a great old tune from the Coasters - from his Grindhouse / Death Proof flick. Rosario Dawson dancing ain't hard to look at either:

Volker

Another favorite of mine. This movie was the comeback of John Travolta. In most every movie he's done, he's danced in it - Saturday Night Fever, Urban Cowboy, Michael..... etc. He does have the moves......

Anyway, we saw Pulp Fiction at the theater and when Travolta started dancing, everyone in the theater applauded and stood up. Bear in mind, it was the first movie Travolta had been in in a long time.

Not really tune of the day, more jam of the day. But it is Billy F. Gibbons & Jimmie Vaughan.....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iLZCvNGfzo

And who is the woman on pedal steel?

Good to see Billy & Jimmie together, though Jimmie isn't nearly as good as usual. Does anyone recognise Jimmie's Strat? It doesn't seem to be the white one he played in the mid 80s (no JLV sticker on the front), & I thought his main guitar now was a Sunburst Jimmie Vaughan signature Strat? Seems too worn to be new though.

Who would have forecast that the LP player of all LP players would end up playing an Esquire? I think maybe he switches gear like that just to prove to people like us that he still sounds like Billy whatever he plays!

Santana - feat India Arie and Yo-Yo Ma

Or "Red Strat & SG", perhaps?

Kimberley Rew getting some great sounds out of his '68 SG Special. Aren't P90s wonderful?
