If it is a KLS it is a Kurosawa store order.

Hard to say what the specs are. Special orders are unique.

BRZ would seem to indicate a Brazilian rosewood fretboard which may create issues with shipping it?

Not sure. You may want to contact Kurosawa. They may have spec'd something other than MK2-S

Looks like Cliff had one if not the same one. He gives the readings on the pickups.

These may have been wound for Kurosawa?

I don’t know. Is it like those where the corners are cut weird?

Still have no idea why they were routed like that. I’ve seen at least one Korean one cut like that. Makes me wonder if they. Contracted to have someone else cut the fretboards or ordered them. Is the wood fancy like Braz or something?

Brazilian rosewood board, but that filler is very off-putting for a premium guitar

You are not the first person to make that comment.

I really have to wonder if they ordered these from someone else and got a bunch and used them up.

Would be interesting to look at the dates these occur. Seems lke it went on for a long time. may still be happening? Odd.

Just noticed similar on my 2022 LC136S SW which I never noticed before but filler looks smaller in comparison
