strange serial number...

this love rock is offered with an serial nr. 1101575
i can't find that in the registery
what is the age of her?? is it 1981 oder 2001?

That would be an '81 with an "inked" serial number. I've got an '80 inky that has a serial number starting with 01 and features double ring tuners so I believe serial number's starting with 11 are '81's. There is some info on these in other threads that you can search if you use "inked" as a search title. There's also info on the registry about these.

This color and finish is not original Tokai. This guitar is repainted.

If it's a refinish, then they've lifted the sticker off and re-applied it and re-stamped the serial. Who would go that far after changing the finish of a Tokai completely ?

Yep, 'cause Tokai did not use any metallic finish on 80ies LP's

That guy told me it's a 2001 and it's the original color.
Don't know what's wrong with that guitar that he repainted it, maybe a broken neck or something like that.
