This might be sacrilege to some, but I wonder whether people have changed the pickup on their '70s/'80s Tokai basses. I know the stock Gotohs on the electric guitars are OK but I eventually changed the pickups on all my Tokai electrics as I feel modern reproductions of PAFs etc are better. What about the basses? Is it worth changing the stock pickups?
