And I hate it when people carve scratches into a mint vintage instrument to make it look even older. I never could understand this Tom Murphy craze at all, but I'm not a Gibson man anyhow, so what do I know...

shoot it's just an old crappy jap clone-aint worth nothing any how !!

I'm not sure if it mentioned in the auction if the guitar had been refinished??
Seems like relic checking is done by applying dry ice to fresh paint??

By the way, there was another "murphied" Love Rock on ebay.co.uk where no one was bidding...

There were some Love Rock relics in the past(a guy I know has one I could see directly),very light guitar with a Les Paul sound no doubt.....

I can?t stand this relic thing.I don't want to pay more money for a guitar with a beat look.I 'll pick one if being noticiable best than a "new looking"....

No coments on this however.....
