My New Tokai ALS-48 Lemon Drop

Greeting all from Melbourne, Australia !

Just received my new Tokai MIC...limited edition Lemon Drop !
She is very gorgeous...board is very dark, looks almost like ebony...trans honey color...beautiful flame top.....so delicious

My plans are to swap out the stock pups and replace them with a set of Artec Giovanni GVH-1's....CTS 500k pots and Vitamin-Q PIO caps

Lovely, see if you can pick some of the Japanese Tokai MK II pickups up off ebay, they tend to sell for not a lot and are really nice,

My french market "limited edition" ALS48 already had Giovanni as stock pickups. The stock pots and caps are fine too. Why change them?

Oh, well I never realised that chinese tokais may have Giovanni's installed as standard? I will take em off and check em out !
