1950 National Supreme, also known as and exactly the same as a Supro, McKinney or Valco Supreme. Tube line-up: 1x 6J7, 1x 6SC7, 2x 6V6, 1x 5Y3, 12 Watts of pure blues. It starts breaking up at 11 o clock and only gets better from there. Added some detailed pics for the ones interested.

That?s a great piece of equipment.
Makes the 260 redundant, no?

Thanks guys, I do have a few other old amps besides the Magnatone 260 Felix is referring to (no chance mate :D). Do have a large arsenal ot tubes, so I always try to mate them with period correct and great sounding tubes. Will post some pics later when interested.

@Emiel check your mail man, it's your move

@Phantom would love to hear a clip of your Plexi, do you maybe have one? The only 'plexi' I own is a Mojave Plexi45, do you know that one?

Jacco here's a clip of one of my Plexi's

oops thought you were posting about something else

Power Tubes are Westinghouse Premium
Made in Holland EL34's NOS

preamp tubes are newer Electro-Harmonix 12AX7A

So, Philips EL34s? Nice, very woody!!
Got some Mullard Xf2s in mine, very nice too, creamy, less woody than the Philips though.

Nice, Ive some of those as well
I really have to get out my collection and test them all on my tube tester
and try them out in all my amps
in my spare time
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggg

Yeah I know, it's very time consuming. Fun and worth it though.
Tip of the day: 70s Matsushita EL34s, best of both worlds; both the creamy mids of the the Mullard and the woodiness of the Philips.
