Perhaps togpswill pop in ... he can tell you ...

I've just seen some of them at togps's ... they were looking nice ... :wink: ... I guess, the possible differences to the MIJs are caused by the used wood. But - make a research for yourself. If I remember right ... we have had some threads with this subject already ... :wink:

They look good..play well...sound ok.
Dont look to close though...the finish can be a bit less than ideal...usually around the neck/body join and the painting of the headstock.

warless, I saw in another thread that you're in Vancouver. What shop did you find the goldtop in?

I was in Long and McQuade on W Hastings, almost about to buy an Epi when Owen brought this out from the back. Being a Gibson rep though they dont keep Tokais in stock.
But if your ever there, ask for Owen, hes a great dude and super helpful.
