Thanks a lot for that - will check it out.

Emailed the seller and it's a Korean model - I already have two Korean Epiphone LP's so won't follow this one up - thanks again though.

There was one in Cash Connector in St. Helens about a year ago for ?250, wish I'd bought it now, the wood was lovely. I will post a picture I took for a gibson snob who eventually said he would have it after 4 weeks of deliberation - too late, sold.

Nice lefty. The company I work for has a carpet mill in St. Helens on Eccleston St.

Only ?250 - I feel like crying  !!!

That's a really great looking guitar, even if it was a Korean model I would have snapped that up super-quick for ?250 - was it a MIK or MIJ? Just shows there's bargains out there if you're lucky and look hard enough!

Thanks to those who PM'd me with some interesting details - if anyone sees any well-priced lefty MIJ Love Rocks I would love to hear from you!

I wish I had bought it and swapped it for a strat from some one. I didn't look at where it was made.

There aren't likely to be any MIJ left handers for a while with what's on the Radar from the Tokai Distributor.

If you want MIJ you'd be worth keeping an eye out for a 2nd hand. Also, as a quick ready reckoner - MIJ models tend to have 2 truss rod cover screws, MIC has 3.

There have not been any MIK guitars for approx 2 years now. It is either MIC or MIJ. Anyone selling Korean either has an old stock or second hand guitar.

Bizarre to see all the talk of St. Helens - that's my hometown! Moved out sharpish as soon as I was old enough, though...

Maybe he's just used to forums where the threads stay on-topic! You have to admit 99% of the threads on here, if you read the last page you'd never guess whet the title of the thread was :D

It would be a much less interesting forum if we all stuck rigidly to the original topic.

Mike

It'd be a much less interesting world if we did that too. :)

Anyway, back to the original topic: St. Helens. Pimbletts has shut up shop! Where will the fine folks of the country's birth defect capital find their pastry now? :(

Agreed - I was only joking about straying of the subject matter. 8)

I think most 'tellinsers burst into flames as soon as they get past Billinge.
