As some of you may know, I've been looking at a Les Paul type guitar for the past few weeks. I really didn't spend most of my bonus getting a Gibson so I finally made the decision to get this Tokai Love Rock from Japan.
Don't be fooled by the flame top. It's actually a veneer over a solid maple top. Hardware and pickups are all Gotoh.
I hope to get it by this weekend and will let you guys know what you think.
I've heard a lot of good things about this Tokai and hopefully, it will not disappoint me. I am very excited! It's my birthday this Thursday, so this will be a good present!
Keeping my fingers crossed that I will not regret this purchase. It's around USD860 with everything in!
