Is it a Silver Star?

Is this a Tokai or a fake? I'm not sure because of the tuners, maybe someone can tell me, thanks!

The tuners are fine (copys of the fender F type fitted to 70s strats)
Not the original pick guard though. have not delt with this seller.
But looks like a nice silver star (that pick guard would have to go)
prefer the 3 tone sunburst myself (got one from japan last year)

I have a '79 Silver Star too,a good guitar,it has a lot of bass for a strato guitar.Neck is thinner than a '82 I had and sold to my friend. Pickups are OK but I put Fralins Hot Specials and it satisfie em a lot, it?s my all purpouse guitar.
Regarding guitar aseked , turners are original, but not the pickguard. I guess you would ask to take the pickguard off and show what?s inside and if the seller agree take the neck off too and read what says on neck pocket there is the model written there in red ink.I guess it could be a SS-36 without more info given.

Mint condition: does it mind a not original pickguard to say it?
