Hi all,
I saw today a Tokai strat that i would like to get more info/id.
1. Ash 3 piece body
2. Kluson type tunes (no marking on the tuners)
3. Saddles have a stamped "prospec" on them
4. Serial number on the neck plate (i think 6 or 7 digits) that starts with 1 (or 01 i cant remember now, but i think its 1)
5. 2 color sunburst
6. Goldstar sound + Tokai logo (not the spaggeti one, but not the block one either)
7. Correct fender headstock
Finally it was the LIGHTEST strat i ve ever tried. I didnt really like the small vintage frets and the 7.25" radius but in general it felt good.
Any more info? The shop has no clue (NOS guitar), 3ply pickguard, allegedly an ST-50 model (so they say but they dont know about tokais)
