Hello,
I’m hoping to identify the year, model and maybe country of this great tele I just bought. The person I bought it from got it in 2001 from HEL Music Store in Saskatoon.

From what I am seeing there is no serial number and no "Made In Japan" stamp?

It is an ATE series with that headstock shape.

The pots roughly date from around 1993-mid 2000s.

Ordinarily in this period if it were Made in Japan it would be stamped in ink on the neck even if it doesn't have a serial number.

Typically the ones with no stamp or serial are thought to be Korean in the 1995-2005 period, but the Japanese pots are a little confounding.

I am wondering if it may be a Japanese build from roughly between 1992 and 2000?

It is a lower end model with the 3 piece body.

The body is double bound so it is not an ATE33. Probably similar to an ATE50/55 YSOR?

Thank you for this info.

You are very welcome.

Unfortunately in this period where some guitars had no serial numbers it may be impossible to pin down the exact year.

This is the same period Tokai was making Fenders, so there is a lot of mystery during this time.
